Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Is there a cost for our services?

    All of our services are free.  There is never a charge for any of the services and resources provided by the Henry County Pregnancy Care Center.

  2. Will my visit remain confidential?

    Yes, all services and information remains confidential.  No one will contact you after your visit unless you give us your permission.

  3. Do you provide pregnancy test?

    Yes, we provide free self-administered pregnancy tests.  Results of these tests remains confidential.

  4. Do you provide abortions?

    No.  The Henry County Pregnancy Care Center does not provide any medical services.  We are a counseling center with trained volunteer counselors who listen and talk with the client (to the extent that she feels comfortable) in an effort to help her view her situation and options objectively.


  5. Do I need an appointment?

    Appointments are not necessary.  We try to have at least two volunteer staff members along with the director available during all our regular office hours of 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  Appointments can be made at other times if you are unable to come in during regular business hours.  Please call 529-7298 to make an appointment.


  6. Can I call at times other than regular business hours?

    Yes you can contact the Henry County Pregnancy Care Center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Occasionally you might receive voice mail.  Please leave a message and someone will call you back quickly. 

    We also have the Optionline available at 1-800-395-HELP.  This is a 24 hour hotline that will connect you with the Crisis Pregnancy Center closest to your location.
